Hypnotherapy

On hearing the word Hypnosis, most of us immediately start thinking about the mysterious hypnotist figure popularized in movies, comic books and television. Most of us also assume that the hypnotists can make the hypnotized person do anything which he wants. But nothing can be further from the truth. This hypnotherapy blog is thus here to help you understand the underlying scientific principle behind hypnotherapy and how it works.

Let us start this hypnotherapy blog by actually understanding what hypnotherapy is, how does it work . Hypnotherapy is the use of therapy while in the state of hypnosis to promoting healing and positive development. Hypnosis is a natural, relaxed state that quiets the chatter of the conscious mind, allowing for communication with the subconscious mind. Since our subconscious mind stores every little experience we have had and holds all of our belief systems, it controls all our autonomic systems of the body. Through this hypnotherapy blog, emphasis will be made on the aim of hypnotherapy, which is to transform the patterns of behaviours and presentations of symptoms within the body to help the person achieve lasting results. Once the change occurs within the subconscious mind, the person can easily overcome the irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions through hypnotherapy.

As a Certified Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, through my hypnotherapy blog, I want to raise awareness about the method and how it can help one and all in many ways. Through hypnotherapy sessions, I help my clients with Physical Health, Mental and Emotional Health, Spiritual Well-being, Habitual behaviours, and Improving Performance Levels too. Being conveniently located in Florida, I am committed to help my patients realize the power of their subconscious mind to heal themselves on multiple levels and live a more balanced, fulfilled life as a result. I conduct workshops like past-life regression workshops and success workshops to help people in a short period of time. My clients can email me to contact me or can even fill a simple online form on my web page so that I can contact them.

More on Hypnosis: By Renukha

Hypnosis: the very word conveys images of someone more powerful than you with mystical powers putting you under a spell, making you act like a chicken, or waving a pendulum in front of your face in order to control you. The myths and preconceptions of hypnosis portrayed by television remain with us even today. These myths are far from the truth. In fact, all hypnosis is self-hypnosis and you must give your permission to be hypnotized. Hypnotherapists, using hypnosis as a therapeutic technique, only serves as a co-operator in the hypnotic process. Hypnotists do not have special powers, nor can they make you do something you do not want to do. No one can use hypnosis to control you, and you are not under anyone's control. In fact, we don't use the word "under" when referring to hypnosis simply because you are moving into an altered state of consciousness, a higher awareness, rather than "going under" a state. This altered state of consciousness, also called the trance state happens as you close your eyes and feel yourself relaxing, especially right before you fall asleep. It is used in meditation to raise your consciousness higher and to be more connected with your higher self.

Upon reaching the appropriate trance state by relaxing the conscious mind, accessing the subconscious mind is now possible. The subconscious mind is like our child's mind and controls about 90% of our behaviors, emotions, thoughts, and symptoms. Events happen in our lives to lead to the emergence of various belief systems and underlying emotions that continue to influence us as adults. The conscious mind - the adult mind that's rooted in the subconscious mind - gets filled with unhealthy or negative thoughts that results in inner conflict and emotional distress. This brings about physical symptoms and/or habitual behaviors that affect us today.

The energy of underlying emotions that are tied to past events in our lives becomes stuck and acts as a blockage. Emotional stress, such as fear or anxiety, causes the body to become "stuck" in the sympathetic nervous system, as it is the flight or fight mode. The body then starts "robbing" energy from different areas to give to other areas. For example, fear may rob energy from the body's muscular system to give to the digestive system. This results in disease of the body systems.

As a Certified Clinical and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, I work to help you release the emotional blockage and transform the erroneous beliefs, allowing the energy to shift and flow so that it does not affect your physical body. The emotions that were stored in the body get released, and healing occurs as a result.

True healing is when the mind makes the changes, not just the body. Hypnotherapy can be used in conjunction with many different fields of practice. In counseling, it is used to resolve trauma, anxiety and depression. It is used in the addictions field to support recovery, and in the medical field for weight loss, smoking cessation, pain control, preparation for childbirth, and for surgery amongst other medical procedures. It is used in sports and the business world to enhance performance and creativity.

By harnessing the power of Hypnotherapy to align your subconscious and your conscious mind, you can transform your life with Hypnotherapy.

Time Does Not Heal, Hypnotherapy Does.

Time Heals All Wounds. This is a saying that is quite common when you lose someone, yet how long is this time? Is it days, months, a year, years, lifetimes? Throughout my own healing and based on what I have heard from others, I have found that it is not time that heals. In fact, it's what you do in the time that heals the wounds.

I have met a man who still has not healed from losing his wife in a divorce over 20 years ago. He therefore has not had a relationship with another woman since. When I experienced my loss, a friend told me that he lost his grandmother 7 years ago and his life has been tragic and miserable since then. He told me that I will never get over it because he never did and it never gets better, only worse. I've heard stories after stories of people not healing after a long time of losing out in a relationship. How does time heal if these people still have not come to terms with their loss?

What happens over time when one actually loses someone they cherish? Well, there is the hurt and the shock of losing and the denial that it's actually happening or happened. At some point, you experience anger at the other person, yourself, those around you, or even God. Within this, you yearn for the one lost as the cherished memories linger on. You feel as if no one in the world could possibly understand what you are going through. The deep despair tends to take over your life. You find ways to cope or even cover up your feelings. Sometimes alcohol or even drugs serve as a temporary cover up or you might drown in your work or career, or find an obsession to distract you. Then, at some point, you decide to accept the loss, but do you really heal from it or do you just continue covering it up with more and more distractions?

Past Life Regression

Let's take a different example in time. Some of you may believe in past lives. I've seen it for myself in past-life regressions, and I have led many people through their own past-life regressions. If time heals all wounds, why would these people need to go back in time to a past life to heal that which afflicts them in this present life? I've seen how an injury in a past life is connected to an otherwise incurable pain in this life. Yes, during the regression, we've done the healing and the pain ends up going away, yet this too depicts that time does not heal wounds.

Hypnosis for mind-set

While time doesn't heal all wounds, healing itself does take time. It takes courage for you to open up to your loss, let your heart feel the hurt within, and eventually experience peace to move forward in your life. This transformation can happen with my guidance as I am a highly trained Hypnotherapist. You can go from darkness to light and joy when you look within. With hypnotherapy, you can heal any deep seated wounds you still carry, whether you are aware of the wound or not. The deep inner mind sometimes has a tendency to hold on, possibly throughout lifetimes in the form of Karma, yet these scars, no matter how long you've been carrying them, can be helped with Hypnotherapy. We help the mind come to terms with the loss so you can Transform Your Life with Hypnotherapy.
